D.Y MAKEUP HAIR & SPA STUDIO POLICIES

 

YOUR APPOINTMENT IS IMPORTANT AND VALUED TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR EXPERIENCE AT D.Y MAKEUP - HAIR & SPA. PLEASE ENSURE YOU REVIEW AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE POLICIES BELOW. IF YOU REQUIRE ANY FURTHER CLARIFICATION DO NOT HESITATE TO REACH OUT.

 

D.Y MAKEUP - HAIR & SPA is committed to upholding the highest standards of infection and disease prevention, alongside all safety measures outlined by Health Canada. Extra time has been allocated to ensure all surfaces and reusable items are thoroughly cleansed and disinfected with hospital-grade cleaning products before and after each appointment. One-time use supplies will be treated as such and safely discarded after usage. Daniela will be wearing appropriate PPE, practicing safe hand-washing and social distancing when required. These policies are put in place to ensure the safety of all clients and staff.

 

All clients are:

  • required to complete a Questionnaire the day of their appointment. D.Y MAKEUP - HAIR & SPA reserves the right to cancel appointments and/or refuse client entry to the clinic without a completed questionnaire.

 

  • asked to arrive 5 minutes before their appointment start time.

 

  • remain in their vehicles upon arrival and will be texted or called when to enter the studio.​

No-Show Policy


Our practice is committed to providing high-quality care to all our patients. To ensure efficient scheduling and availability, we have established a formal policy for missed appointments and late cancellations. This policy is designed to reduce disruptions and maintain fairness for all patients.

  • Definition of a No-Show

    A “no-show” appointment is defined as:

  • A failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment.

  • A cancellation or rescheduling made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

  • Patient Responsibility

    Patients are expected to notify the office at least 24 hours in advance if they are unable to keep their scheduled appointment. Notifications can be made by calling or texting our office at 647 296 4848.

  • No-Show Fee

  • A $40 fee will be charged for all missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.

  • This fee is the patient’s responsibility and cannot be billed to insurance.

  • The fee must be paid prior to scheduling any future appointments.

  • Exceptions

    We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may occur. Exceptions to the no-show fee may be granted at the discretion of the office under the following circumstances:

  • Medical emergencies.

  • Severe weather conditions.

  • Other situations deemed acceptable by the practice.

  • Repeated No-Show Appointments

    Patients with repeated no-show appointments may be subject to additional actions, including but not limited to:

  • Requirement of a deposit for future scheduling.

  • Discharge from the practice.

Illness

Clients who are feeling unwell will be expected to cancel their appointment and notify D.Y MAKEUP - HAIR & SPA as soon as possible. This appointment can be cancelled/rescheduled with no penalty.

 

First Visit

All new clients are required to complete a client consultation form. Clients booking a same-day treatment are also required to complete the above form prior to the appointment. Failure to complete any of the documents will delay the start of the treatment and shorten treatment timing.

All new clients are required to complete a full client consultation prior to the service to ensure the safest and most effective treatment and product plan. Additional time will be added to your service if an in-person consultation is not booked alongside a service for the initial visit.

Confirmation Policy

All clients will receive a confirmation text/email at least 24-hours prior to the appointment booking and will be requested to confirm their appointment. If the appointment is not confirmed by the day of treatment, D.Y MAKEUP - HAIR & SPA reserves the right to cancel the appointment and upon all future bookings, will require pre-payment of the treatment in FULL at time of booking.

 

 

Late Arrival

Any late arrival will result in a shortened treatment timing. Clients arriving later than 15 minutes on two consecutive bookings will be required to pre-pay for future services in FULL at the time of booking.

Return/Exchange Policy

All treatments are final sale and non-refundable.
All products purchased online/in-store are final sale.

 

 

Lost/Misplaced Items

D.Y MAKEUP - HAIR & SPA is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
